Pi Chapter at University of Nebraska

Kappa Delta

Our Officers

President

Madeline Vavricek

My name is Madeline Vavricek, and I have the privilege of serving Pi Chapter as president this year! I am currently a Junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I am a majoring in Business Administration and Economics and minoring in Leadership and Communications. After college, I plan on attending law school and pursing a career in public service. I spend my free time reading my pocket-sized United States Constitution, performing complicated Broadway dance numbers whenever my roommates are gone, thinking about cheeseburgers, and struggling to open my filing cabinet at the Chapter House. I am excited beyond words to serve Pi Chapter in this role, and I hope that I can carry on the tradition of excellence and sisterhood established by the presidents before me.

VP Member Education

Blair Kellner

My name is Blair Kellner and I am currently a Junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My major is Business Administration with minors in Political Science and Management. I absolutely love anything Disney and hope to work for them one day. You can find me either reading the Disney Parks Blog or chilling in the beanbag chair in the KΔstle.

VP Membership

Natallia Jorgensen

Hey! I am a Junior majoring in Marketing along with minoring in Psychology and Economics. I love to go on adventures that hopefully, involve food and listening to one of the 60+ Demi Lovato songs on my phone. I am fiercely independent but also love to surround myself with people. Being in Kappa Delta has helped me understand the importance of selflessness and trust within a friendship. My sisters and positions within the house challenge me constantly. Since joining KD, I have grown immensely as an individual and as a friend. For which, I am eternally grateful.

VP Operations

Lee Kenny

I am a Junior English and Psychology major at the University. When I’m not working, you can usually find me watching MTV shows or taking pictures of our fearless Prez, Maddie Vav. If not for Kappa Delta, I would not be standing firm in the knowledge that I can accomplish what I want to do — write and edit Young Adult Literature, and teach and foster teenagers. There is no one and nothing I love more than disadvantaged, misunderstood kids, especially kids with mental health issues and/or parent issues. Kappa Delta has brought me avenues to make a difference in the world I care about, and I hope to do the same for Kappa Delta through my service on Council.

VP Community Service

Malarie Humble

I am a Junior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Child Youth & Family Studies, and Leadership & Communications. A few fun facts about me: I am a volunteer barista for "Destinations," a campus coffee shop, I work as a camp counselor for Pine Cove, a Christian summer camp, and I am obsessed with watercolor painting. I am an extremely positive and optimistic person, I enjoy searching for the good in all situations and encouraging others along the way. Kappa Delta has been a catalyst in my love of philanthropic and altruistic service to others. Understanding our values and learning by example from great leaders in this chapter, I have grasped the importance of putting others before myself and instilling confidence always. I am extremely thankful for Kappa Delta.

VP Public Relations

Taylor Randol

Hey y'all! I am a Senior majoring in Advertising & Public Relations here at UNL. I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, but I have always loved the Huskers! My college experience would not even compare if not for Kappa Delta. I have found sisters that keep me laughing, the most fun and adventurous people to take road trips with, the friends down to lay on the floor of KD and talk with until 2 a.m., my life long best friends. I am so grateful for all of the memories and opportunities I have received from KD so far! This year, as Vice President-Public Relations, I hope to expose the world to what an incredible sisterhood I have been a part of!

VP Standards

Grace Mosier

Hey y'all!! My name is Grace Mosier, I'm from Pensacola, FL, and I am #blessed to be serving Pi Chapter as Vice President of Standards! I am a Junior Psychology major with minors in Gerontology and Humanities in Medicine on the Pre-Occupational Therapy track! Some of my favorite things to do with my sisters are cheering on the Huskers, eating ice cream at The Dairy Store, and dancing up and down the halls of the house on a Friday night! I prefer Coke over Pepsi, Chocolate over Vanilla, and Kappa Delta over everything! GO BIG RED & GO KD!

Secretary

Carolyn Davis

Hi! My name is Carolyn Davis and I am currently a Junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am a mathematics major who is an avid husker fan all the way from Dubuque, Iowa. Outside of watching Husker athletics I work in the Math Resource Center on campus and during the summer I am a counselor at a local Girl Scout camp! Kappa Delta has let me stay connected with my long time Girl Scout past while introducing me to inspiring and confident women. Here's to jamming in the car with all my sisters, spending time together outside, and chilling in the bean bag chairs all afternoon!

VP Finance

Ashley Nilles

Hello! I am a Sophomore at the university, pursuing a psychology major with a criminology minor. I intend to go to graduate school for forensic psychology. I interned as a call responder for the national crisis line, as a suicide interventionist. I am involved in the law and policy research lab here on campus. I am from Chicago, IL. Go cubs go! I love my great city back home and the Shedd Aquarium. I also love Nashville, TN and hope to end up there someday. I am a Bachelor enthusiast, and avid Starbucks drinker, a planner, and I love calligraphy and being crafty. A life mantra, when in doubt check Pinterest! In all seriousness, Kappa Delta has brought me awesome sisters that inspire me every day to the more beautiful, and honorable things. I thank this sorority every day for what it has already brought me, and look forward to my what it still will offer. #BeKD
